Young dog sparks outrage in online community after mysteriously falling pregnant and choosing to terminate it prematurely, but undeterred by the haters: ‘Ruthie has reviewed the feedback and decided to remain alive and enormous out of spite.’

Any time someone does something even remotely controversial with their pup it feels like the online community goes up in arms. But this time they had a fair bit of a point seeing as the both of the choices that were offered to this pawrent were rather controversial. Giving her no other option than to follow her hooman heart and do what is best for her pup.

Online communities love getting their noses stuck into doggo dramas. The moment on lands every single pawson on that post becomes some sort of CEO of canines and their opinion is the be all and end all of canine life. However, nothing could be further from the truth and each one of us pupper pawrents has a choice to make in how we raise our own puppers, out of the view and discretion of other people. But seeing as the situation this pawrent found herself in was quite the surprising one, we assume she wanted to warn other pawrents from finding themselves in the same spot.

Sadly, this timid approach is what got this pawrent in a spot of trouble with a whole heap of other pawrents. Pawrents who believe in the sanctity of life at all stages of development and whom were not too kind to the doggo and her pawrent. But what we believe to be most important here is that a pupper pawrent stood up for their darling doggo and did what they thought was right to protect the doggo from harm. Others who would have found themselves in the same situation might have just as easy dumped the dog and put the problem in someone else's hands. So sometimes it is better we all stay quiet and say thank you that another dog's life has been saved.

While this is indeed quite the rarity, it happens a little more often than you would believe. Dogs can be crafty creatures, and the moment our backs are turned they get up to all sorts of hijinks. One of which apparently includes getting jiggy in the bushes. But no excuse is going to make this moment any less surprising and confusing to handle. One can only wonder the thoughts racing through this pawrent’s mind, especially as she had a hard decision to make because of this.

Much as we hate to disparage a pupper pawrent, this poster is right. In the same way that you keep a kid from school when they are sick such that other kids don’t catch the same thing. It would only stand to be responsible on the part of a pawrent to keep your canine away from dog parks if they are indeed intact. To begin with an intact doggo is just a whole other creature to one that has been spayed. Hormones pumping through their system drive them nuts and make for a tumultuous time for the spayed dogs around them.
